Kim Kardashian may file charges against flour bomber, after all
Reality TV star doesn’t want to send message that her attacker “can really get away with that”
Kim Kardashian’s “flour bomber” may not be getting off scot-free after all.
The reality TV star is coming around to the idea of pressing charges against a female animal rights activist who dumped a bag of flour all over her in the lobby of Hollywood’s London Hotel Thursday night, US Magazine reports.
The woman yelled “fur hag” as she showered Kardashian with the white powder, most likely in reference to the famous fashionista’s proclivity for wearing fur.
“I said earlier no I wasn’t [going to file a complaint],” Kardashian told the magazine. “I am just going to think about it, because I don’t want someone to think they can really get away with that. So we are going to handle that.”
Kardashian initially brushed off the incident, telling Hollwood Life “I laughed it off, dusted it off and went upstairs to get a blowdryer. I didn’t want to disrepect people’s jobs. The show must go on.”
But after taking some time to let the incident sink in, the Kardashian family is ramping up security — after all, what if it had been some other white powder, and not flour?
“I think ‘What if that was some other substance? What if that person had a dangerous weapon?” Kardashian told US. “And so we are definitely changing things up a little bit, amping up security, taking some measures, and… I’m gonna definitely deal with it because it is not acceptable.”
On Friday, Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner, praised the reality star on her blog for coming right back out to the red carpet after the incident.
“I am so proud of my daughter for handling this situation so professionally and with such poise!” Jenner wrote. “Kim wasn’t phased by the attack and simply walked away from the red carpet, brushed herself off and headed right back out!!”
